At Custom Milling & Consulting, LLC (CMC), our guiding principle has always been: “Make our customers successful first, and our success will follow.” Founded in 1998 by Carl Yerger and Joseph Zidik, CMC began as a small toll processing company specializing in particle size reduction for liquid materials. By staying true to this belief, we have continuously evolved to meet the changing needs of our customers.
As demand grew, so did our operations. In 2010, we built an additional state-of-the-art facility dedicated to assembling and constructing equipment. This facility also houses our Pilot Lab, where customers can test our technology firsthand to see the impact CMC equipment can have on their processes.
A Unique, Full-Service Approach
What sets CMC apart is our full-service approach. We not only design and build equipment but also use our own mills in our toll processing facility. This gives us a deep understanding of real-world production challenges.

Carl D. Yerger Logistics Center: Expanding Capabilities
In 2014, we took another step forward by establishing the Carl D. Yerger Logistics Center to support customers developing specialty chemicals requiring extended processing times and precise conditions. It provides on-site warehousing for raw materials and finished products, as well as large-scale toll processing for production-size batches.
In 2021, CMC became part of the ChromaScape LLC family, further strengthening our ability to deliver innovative, customer-focused solutions.
